Ingraham: Delta, MetLife, Others 'Ceding' to Anti-NRA Pressure 'Kicked a Hornet's Nest'

In her "Angle" monologue, Laura Ingraham warned Delta Airlines and other companies who cut ties with the National Rifle Association that by "ceding" to left-wing political pressure, they "kicked a hornet's nest."

Atlanta-based Delta was one of the first to announce they were no longer offering discounts to NRA members in the wake of the Florida school shooting.

However, Ingraham reported that the move may have cost them millions of dollars, as Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle (R-Ga.) led a successful effort to strip the company of jet fuel-related tax breaks.

Ingraham said Delta CEO Ed Bastian responded to the news by saying his company is now evaluating whether to end group discounts to other organizations based on whether they are of a "politically divisive" nature.

Ingraham said companies like Delta, MetLife, First National Bank of Omaha, Hertz, Enterprise and others are bowing to anti-gun rhetoric.

All this is ridiculous. The Federals have you under their thumbs and never raised and arm or sighted anyone. What is anyone going to shoot their way out of......compliance and dependency for sub prime jobs and wholesome Christian breeding rites of faith. We need to vanquish America from their misguided wholesome dreams.

Delta's better move would be to say "Our mission is to safely fly planes with lots of paying customers inside. We have and will offer discounts to various groups where a number of their members might wish to fly with us to a group event or city. When we do so we do not endorse or repudiate the group. That discussion should occur elsewhere. Thank you."

MetLife should have said something similar to Delta.

Dick's should have been - "We make too much money selling firearms so we thought we'd piss off hunters and those committed to the Second Amendment as a starting point. Then we'd expect them to avoid us for all their other sports and outdoor expenditures for themselves and their typically active extended family members. The resulting empty floor space will be filled with trendy SJW protest gear made by vegan eunuchs in fair trade communes. Please don't forget us."
