Gun control laws, background checks, etc., may make it harder/impossible for criminals to get a firearm LEGALLY but NOT impossible to get a firearm by other means, as all reasonable people already know. Most criminals already have contacts to get firearms, and indeed already possess firearms. Criminals love gun control laws. It helps them target people in gun-free zones, it increases profit in the black market, etc.
By definition, criminals do not obey laws. One more gun control law will make NO difference to them, and there is NO magic law that will suddenly convince them to obey that law or any other law.
There has been a consistent and constant effort to disarm Americans which would be the only way to stop shootings totally. Disarming Americans will never happen, and any overt attempt to do so would result in bloodshed and death. Like it or not, that's just the way it is.
I believe there is a direct correlation between the closing of mental health facilities and the rise of mass shootings. These closings and the run-down conditions of the remaining operational ones are not the results of lack of patients but the lack of funds.
I won't mention his name since he is deceased but a popular politician was one of the major reasons for the closing of a lot of/most facilities. Lack of government funds also is behind the run down conditions.
Remove gun free zones, arm staff at schools or get other armed people in schools to protect them. That is short-term and can be done right away. Then tackle the mental health crisis we have in this country.
I can't understand this. Liberals hate Trump and hate police and like us don't trust the government. So their solution to shootings is have Trump send the police to take away the guns of people the government has selected. What kind of backwards logic is this.

I can walk to a couple of places right now here is Shitbury and buy a full auto AR, and any handgun I want. Guns are very easy to get, but it will cost $$$$
Those 57 states and two to go will always be a good memory.
