Broward Sheriff Scott Israel facing calls for his ouster after Florida school shooting

Florida Gov. Rick Scott is facing a growing number of calls to remove Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel from his position over the department’s response to the high school shooting that killed 17 people.

Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran, R-Pasco County, sent a letter to Scott on Sunday asking the governor to suspend Israel. A day earlier, State Rep. Bill Hager, R-Boca Raton, urged Scott to relieve Israel from his duties for “neglect of duty and incompetence," the Palm Beach Post reported.

The sheriff blamed NRA while performing on CNN. He then asked for congress to pass laws that are already on the books. I honestly don't think he has a clue and has gotten away with shaking hands and kissing baby's. He could have seized the gun and let a judge decide based on types of calls and witness accounts. Not that it would have stopped this monster but it would have been a cya.

8:30 he did nothing because he's a democrat. He ignored violence in students so it looked like a reduction in the "school to prison pipeline." This is what democrats do. Instead of changing behavior they ignore or downgrade crimes. It is happening nationwide. The democrat voters are incredibly ignorant and fall for the illusions created all the time.

His involvement with Sharim is enough to fire him.

That poor kid was a victim of Sharim, then set up as a patsy.
Professional shooters - yes plural.
Many many reports of multiple shooters.
