We have grown far bigger then any new source here on the Shore and we need to fight back. To sit here on a daily basis and watch these Liberal bastards on what is supposed to be a conservative LOCAL news channel recite left wing, anti Trump crap and every other Republican is just ridiculous and guess what, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
If you boycott this channel and everything involved in connection to this channel and do your conservative duty you will force change. How these Liberals can smack us in the face on a daily basis and we allow it to happen is just plain stupid on our part. FIOS have already cut their ties with WBOC because they refuse to concentrate on LOCAL news, we should too.
It is only fair that conservatives on the Shore be allowed to enjoy the FAIR AND BALANCED side of news and WBOC refuses to give us that opportunity. I'm tired of them saying on a Fox News Channel stories they flat out state came from CBS and other Liberal news outlets. There's nothing FAIR AND BALANCED about WBOC.
So please join me in boycotting WBOC until they commit to only sharing FOX NEWS and Conservative views. It's no wonder the only commercials this channel seems to run is mini infomercials.

Someone should have watched and made a list of at least their local advertisers so we can call/email our concerns.
I with 5:30. Haven't watched their 5pm broadcast ever and haven't watched the 6, 7 or 11 pm broadcasts in probably 10 yrs or more now.
As of two weeks ago, I no longer watch WBOC, Delawares advertising leader! I now watch WMDT. Kind of amature, but at least they report Maryland and Salisbury news in my area. Still liberal, but at least I don't have to have a daily dose of BLESS MY CHILDREN! or the Johnny Janosik furniture hour! Trump bashing in "The Trump Presidency" as a disrespect for the office. Totally sick of this!!!! It's a disservice to the conservative eastern shore.
To the person claiming Steve Hammond and the WBOC Family are registered republicans, give me a break! Yeah, this is why they work/run ALL liberal news. I'll tell you what, let's see what this boycott does. Let me remind you people how the Daily Times had some 250 employees and now they have what, A DOZEN after telling me they love competition. Clearly they made a horrible mistake 13 years ago and never expected me, ("competition") to cut them off at the knees.

If I knew how to get to FOX main Office I would have already complained years a go. These local channels have been on my "do not watch" for years Since they are no better than MSM, CNN and MSNBC. All they do is spread propaganda and the Democrat agenda. Definitely not "fair and balanced" as a news organization should be. That is also the reason I have not received / bought a Daily Times in several years.

Would someone give a few examples of what they say against our POTUS? I live in Salisbury and haven't viewed them or 47 in well over 10 years because they didn't appear to be the real deal. Too green behind the ears. Fresh out of school and grabbing a spring board to make it to Baltimore and then move along. Don't get me wrong, I know they have to start somewhere or at the bottom if you will. It was like going to barber school and later get a chair in a shop. One now and then, but to have a large percent covering the station most of the time was too much for me. I hear people talk about Dan said so....I don't have a clue who that is. Thanks

I absolutely assure you that with your clout in this area, they WILL take notice, and take notice quickly.
The sponsors of that newscast will drop like flies, especially with the Christmas shopping season around the corner.

I don'y understand what the hell is wrong with the local TV stations. WBOC being the worse . They are always a day or week late on any event that is news worthy . I saw all over the news yesterday about another shooting at a school , WBOC released it today . While they are talking about how to cook sweet potatoes or some charity things that are important need to be released . I did boycott but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't need to feel warm and fuzzy anymore , I want to know what the hell is going on in this country .

WBOC is scared, as well as other local media sources. They know for a fact I'll never sell out, especially to a LIBERAL media source.
No matter who you are and or what you think of me, I went up against ALL of the media sources with a grass roots blog. You can blast me all you want, NO ONE, (including me) ever thought SBYNews would become what we have become. It was never my intention to do so. WBOC and all others refuse to tell you about rapes, crime and even the backgrounds of local politicians and or candidates. All too often over the years I've heard, we told the DT's or WMDT and WBOC but they never published our stories. With over a decade of doing this, people have learned they can trust me. Have you seen their Sunday evening news? The poor young woman is by heself, reads the sports and weather forecasts all news is national stories not covered on the Cbs show. Nothing local this sunday at all - no mention of the wallops launch wven though they covered it in the 8 show. They still haven't resolved their Fios/Verizon issue and now their classics channel is on their low signal LongNeck tower, so no longer received over the air in Somerset county. Have resorted to watching 47, they have local coverage and just keep adding stations Ion is coming in, plus Grit.
I haven't watched in a while and now all the stations are messed up nothing to watch anyway

What ever happened to this effort to publically boycott Fox News at WBOC? I just stumbled on this post. Fox News is where journalism goes to die! It's devious for WBOC to present Fox as balanced journalism. WBOC should be true to the real nature of Fox News. WBOC should bring on Tucker Carlson to commentate on the evening WBOC news broadcast.
WBOC and all the on air personalities should resist.
