Concealed carry regulations vary widely across the country. Guns & Ammo magazine looked at the most up-to-date laws in each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, and ranked the states from worst to first. Criteria included ease of acquiring a concealed carry permit, costs associated with licensure, training hours required and reciprocity with other states.

This whole obsession is ridiculous. The guys I know with right to carry can't get their wallets out of their wide ass mom jeans much less draw a gun and see clearly enough or shoot well enough to equalize or protect anyone in a threatened situation. They would be better off just wearing bullet proof vests if they are so afraid. It might give them a slimming look. Predators smell fear if you are packing you are already prey.
Maryland comes at #47, in the mix of liberal havens like D.C.,California, Hawaii and New Jersey. And even worst than socialist state of New York. Governor Hogan, Are you gonna do something? Or just sit on your hands and expect for us, the People, to vote for your 2nd term? I dont think so.

Hogan can't do anything. It will never pass and if it did the next governor would repeal it. You forget MD is a blue (democrat) state. You ran the last republican out of office and got stuck with O'Malley. History will repeat itself.
The second amendment is everyone's permit to me. And all laws restricting ownership are unconstitutional to me. Those laws do nothing except punish ones who have already committed some type of "crime" to be placed on a ban list. They do nothing to prevent any future crimes by "criminals" or even "legal" owners who then go on to commit some "crime".
The real objective is to limit firearm ownership from everyone and this is just one step in that direction.
