Publishers Notes: I had an incredible discussion last night with a source who confirmed 13 overdoses in one day and three murders in Salisbury in one week. Funny how none of this is mentioned in the SPD reports. Before some of you start attacking me in comments, I'm confident this person knows what they're talking about. I asked about stabbings and they said, "every single day".
I've also been told by another source that local businesses are now hiring private security guards to protect their businesses, costing some $1,200.00 A DAY!
We are also working on yet another BIG story referencing the Boy Mayor. Wait till you hear what he's up to next!

You will never here the truth from the fake news. Why? Because if you where sending your kids to college and did a Google search the last thing you would want to see is the truth. Follow the money to see where the lies begin.
If Salisbury is caught lying about their statistics to the FBI they'll be in a world of hurt. Day and Duncan could be charged by the Bureau if they find out their statistics are fictional. Wonder if they have lied to the Feds like they lie to us.
I was trying to figure this out the other day, I thought there had been 7 murders (before the last one?) but when I checked the up to date stats on SPD's website it says there have been only 4 total this year?
313-1 so you're saying the college is asking Salisbury to cover this up? Does Janet Eshbach have that much power in a town where she's not even a born citizen and is in a job where she will probably move on after she scores a bigger university presidency?
Have family members working security at local business and have been for years. Salisbury is NOT safe.
I wonder if they are having the Maryland State Police investigate things so they don't show up on the chart for Salisbury? Different agencies have different lists. I wish we could combined all crime stats in one place.

It's federal law that offenses committed on a college campus are not reported in the surrounding city statistics. Yeah, I know you think this is stupid but you can google it or ask your attorney.

Charlottesville, VA - The riots in Charlottesville, Virginia may have been two weeks ago but it's impact is still being felt in the community.
Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis is down there for training and weighed in on the matter, relaying the sights he saw of a community trying to heal.
Too busy to cleanup WICO drug dealers but plenty of time to write speeding tickets to working people M-F mornings.
Everyone gets upset....but....I call it thinning the herd (THUGS)!!!!! Let them remove each other then crime will be down in Salisbury!!!!!

Washington St is the hood, what do you expect? People getting liquored up on Mad Dog, a Saturday night in a 3-day holiday weekend. All the recipe ingredients to say, a shooting is going to happen. It just happened sooner than Sunday and Monday. It was inevitable. What's more shocking is the local media ignores it while the mayor and police hoodwink everyone into looking the other way. 1028 I saw an interview via phone on WMDT just the other night where the newscaster said Lewis was in Charlottesville. He discussed the sentiment in Charlottesville and how they were still having a hard time after the death of that girl in early August. Maybe Lewis has a twin but the real Mike Lewis was doing a phoner on air with the WMDT crew just the other day.
Big deal. A few grams of cocaine when there are people OD'ing in restrooms at convenience stores on heroin regularly. Cokeheads aren't turning up dead, they might be at happy hour around town socializing with slumlord crowd. DE has been making large heroin busts over the summer. MD not so much.

No one said there wasn't a small bust involving some cocaine but that bust doesn't have anything to do with stopping the heroin epidemic. Are you denying the large busts in DE? It has to do with a lack of leadership and policing in this area. Crime is ignored and covered up. Limelight Lewis is only interested in promoting himself. Duncan can't stop thugs on dirt bikes from terrorizing law abiding drivers in Salisbury.

You are incorrect 245. Sheriff Lewis was in VA. Besides Washington St is technically not the Sheriff Department's beat so why bring him up at all. This is part of the Day-Duncan production nothing to do with Wicomico.
Have them stop coming and takeing summer jobs OUR AMERICAN kids want and need , that has just basicly been taken away from a generation
Lazy american kids won't work the hours or jobs offered in the summer in OC. They are too sheltered, mommy would hsave to drive them to work and pick them up. They need every other day off to play video games and text friends for hours at a time.
Not just the college, but all the business that benefit from the students being here, including the slumlords who are able to charge the college kids way more than what their run down junkie houses are worth.
SU police are considered state police because it's a state college. Not sure how the crime reporting works though.
That's why they are trying to expand it. The more area it covers the less crime goes on the books.
