Hillary Clinton Considering Becoming a Methodist Preacher

Having failed to win the White House in November and with a new book on the way, Hillary Clinton is reportedly looking at turning to a more publicly religious role. Her pastor is saying she wants to get into preaching.

According to The Atlantic, Clinton told her longtime pastor Bill Shillady, at a recent photo shoot for his new book, that she wants to preach — something that the outlet says has always been a dream for her.

This comes on the back of a report that Clinton told an editor in 1994 that she thought “all the time” about becoming a minister. Per the Atlantic:

Last fall, the former Newsweek editor Kenneth Woodward revealed that Clinton told him in 1994 that she thought “all the time” about becoming an ordained Methodist minister. She asked him not to write about it, though: “It will make me seem much too pious.” The incident perfectly captures Clinton’s long campaign to modulate—and sometimes obscure—expressions of her faith.

Just what the Methodist church needs another unsaved, hypocritical preacher that doesn't believe the Bible. That preaches a social gospel instead of the word of God. And then goes out of the church and into the public and lies and cheats and steals and does everything the Bible says you shouldn't do. And thinks they will be alright in Gods eyes. Well I got news for you there is a special place in Hell for people like that and many Methodist preachers are going to bust Hell wide open. Some will be good men but they just failed to preach the gospel and didn't believe they needed to be saved to get to heaven.
This is the way of the Methodist church preach a social gospel and tell people what they want to hear because they wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. And by doing that they are sending people to hell on a regular basis. God says you need to be saved and accept his son. If you don't you are hell bound.

Just what's needed...another televangelist. Looking for free will offerings from Iran, Russia, Fortune 500 bigwigs, Muslim Brotherhood, etc, etc.

Jokes will write themselves!

Burn in HELL HILL.

She would be a shoe in for the Church of Satan.
There is nothing Christian about her.
This is not good news for the Methodist church!

The United Methodist Church, along with many denominations, teach what people want to hear rather than what God says. They accept anyone living any kind of lifestyle in their congregations because they say God loves them too. It's not about not loving people, it's all about hating sin and God's Word says he can't look at sin. So why even pray? You're lost!

I'm not a head shrink, but I bet she is thinking of that plate being passed around. This could be her last shot, being a failure as she is they won't pay for her speeches any longer. This subject has been a looser from the beginning. Couldn't help but be when she lies and steals everyday. Oh, the church is no place for her either. Maybe crawl under a rock.

I guess since she isn't getting large donations for her charity any longer, she's resorted to organized religion which is a known money maker.

That ought be good a liar, a thief and a murderer as a preacher?

12:45 and 7:48,

I'm guessing there's a special place in Hell for the self-righteous. Enjoy your stay.

Anon 8:50 It's not being self-righteous, it's what the Bible says. We are all sinners including me. The difference is when you accept God's son as your savior and try to be more like him. That's what God says in his word. Only those that accept Christ as their personal lord and savior will go to heaven. That's what God said like it or not.

I believe we have an all forgiving God. But Hillary and Bill take the cake. I agree Hillary needs some counseling at least and shock therapy at best. A life of prominence, deceit, lying, cajoling, and whatever other skeletons in the closet, have left a narcissistic mean empty person and thinking she could feel empathy for people is beyond the pale.

9:02,

Agree, if you believe in God, then you must believe God is who he is, not who you want him to be.

But what you, 12:45, and 7:48 are saying is your denomination is superior, and Methodists are going to hell. I think that fits the bill of self-righteousness.

Now, if the Methodist Church lets HRC be a preacher, maybe they all deserve to go to hell.

While she is at the podium, Brother Billy Boy would be working the congregation. Can't you see him while everyone has their head bowed in prayer, that predator would be rubber necking with eyes wide watching females with closed eyes. The failed candidate watching his every move. Now that's funny, don't care who you are.

Wow. sounds like you have had some real bad experiences. I go to a wonderful Methodist Church if you are looking for a change try Bethesda might just be what your looking for.

This minister doesn't have all his oars in the water about Hillary. First off she is responsible for the murder of 4 Americans in Bengazi when ignoring requests for help. Second she stated in the election process that Trump supporters were deplorables. This is the rational for a Christian preacher really?

"God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside [the nonbelievers]. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church]." I Cor 5:13
When you appoint a lesbian bishop to lead local Methodist churches, then you need to repent or true believers should stay away. There are local Methodist churches that allow known adulterers to be church leaders such as lay directors, organists, choir directors, etc. What true followers of Christ do, when they are convicted of their sin, is repent. If they don't, they are to be expelled from the church. Many churches today condone open sin within the church. They look the other way, afraid of losing members.

HilLIARy just takes the cake, doesn't she? She and Slick Willy would be just perfect as TVangelists. A whole new field for them to exploit, both so PIOUS. Mo' money, mo' money....

Methodist or Buddhist, her becoming a religious figure is just for the tax breaks. All of their homes would become tax free "worship centers". The Clinton Foundation would dovetail into the mix, and she would become an international evangelist on a quest to overfill the coffers of the Foundation and perpetuate the globalist perspective that she hoped to continue as president.

No matter what Hillary does or says, it's all about her personal power and the money that flows from it to her own purse.

11:07,
Since you are intent on casting stones at the Methodist denomination for the actions of some leaders, surely you must be ready to hurl boulders at the Catholics because of their leader's deplorable pedophilia, yes?

What denomination is it that is without sin? Please tell me so I can get them the first stone.

After seeing what a racket religion could be in the South as First Lady of Arkansas, she thought "all the time" about it and how she, too, could capture the hearts and minds and pockets of thousands, millions of the faithful.

9:39 being a Methodist myself, I'm only going on observation. If that individual surfaced on Sunday I would go to see The Baptist.

She has a very high chance of catching on fire as soon as she touched the pulpit.
Unless she cast the appropriate spells first.

You know what I think? I think both Killary and Obammy are behind all this crap we see in the news lately. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them had a hand in that shit that went down in Va. As a matter of fact, I am sure of it. Both of them stated they would fight Trump and everything he tried to do. People in power and the rich want him out of office because for one thing he is getting things done that should have been done a very long time ago, making some look bad. Another thing they hate is he is costing them money. They are losing profits and will lose much more if Trump continues.
And get this, Killary wants to be a preacher? Did she have a vision when she took those walks in the woods after getting her ass handed to her in the election? Could it be the tax-free money associated with churches? Could it be the captive audience of those who go to hear her "preach"? And just what would she be "preaching"? The Gospel of Mark? Hardly. She would use her "pulpit" to "educate" the masses. And seemingly have the power of the church behind her. If she could get those to believe her, it would spread. Don't underestimate the level of ignorance in this country or the numbers of those that are ignorant.
I don't know much about that guy 'Alinsky', or whatever his name was, but it seems what they say about him and the way Obammy, and now Killary, follow his teachings is true. They would rather burn this country down than to give up their power, or whatever remains of it.
I'm not gonna look up facts and figures for any of this. When you know something you just know it, and I probably forgot a lot of what I have read and heard, but it left a mark. You may not remember exactly what somebody does, but you always remember how it made you feel.
And both of them made/makes me feel sick.

Several counter-protesters attacked the vehicle with bats, smashing its windows and trying to prevent the driver from leaving the scene.

And just why were these "peaceful counter protesters" having bats in their possession, to begin with?
