Pew: 58% of Republicans Say Colleges Have Negative Impact on US

In a sharp decline over the past two years, nearly six in 10 Republicans believe colleges and universities have a negative impact on the U.S., according to the latest survey by the Pew Research Center.

While 55 percent of Americans overall have a positive view of colleges/universities, 58 percent of Republicans hold a negative attitude — a stunning 13-point change from 2016 and 21-point change from 2015, according to Pew.

You Think?

Colleges are nothing but Profit/Greed/Businesses

They care nothing about truth, education, or kids. No more than todays current education system. I have said for years - Libtards were genius for taking over education systems and making more liberal / democrap voters from it.

Warp the mind of the young, have voters forever. Republicans have moral, and common sense, which libtards have NONE of.

Just like the public school system, most colleges today are there to expand on indoctrination of our children.

Most colleges are just brainwashing machines under the guise of education. All they do is try to persuade all of the students to be liberal, leftist socialists. This is their whole purpose. That is why so many college graduates are so ignorant and can't even do simple math. It has happened over the last fifty years and started when one atheist had prayer removed from public schools.

I went to a very left leaning liberal arts college. It was very academically challenging and made me think deeply. This was before the nut jobs but during the anti-bush/iraq invasion time. It was interesting how libs concern themselves with things like that but are quite unwilling to join in campus beautification days. But i will say this, liberalism has brought some good ideas historically (weekends, no child labor, etc.). But i also learned that IF YOU IGNORE THEM THEY GO AWAY! posting things about molly feeds them. Ignoring them hurts their feelings and they stop. If dems and cons would just give that a try we could have some decent conversations in this country.

Just a quick comment....years ago I found out that I needed a credit and took what I thought would be an easy course. Being female I signed up for "Womans Studies"....which turned out to be a course in Lesbian lifestyles. Money back?
