CTE found in brains of 110 out of 111 deceased NFLers

Researchers studying the brains of 202 former football players discovered traces of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in nearly all of them, with the highest instances occurring in players who had reached the professional level.

While the report, which was published Tuesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association, doesn’t confirm that the condition is common in all football players, the Boston brain bank researchers diagnosed CTE in 177 former players, or nearly 90 percent of the samples studied. Many donors or their families contributed to the studies because of the players’ repeated concussions and symptoms before death, The Associated Press reported.

I don't want my taxes to pay for anything involving this study or the subsequent actions taken. Before long every impact sport athlete will jump on the settlement bandwagon. They chose to get beaten up.Most had a degree that would have afforded them a career other than an athlete.

How is this news? All you have to do is listen for the daily police reports of which player broke what law. The national felon league is ridiculous today, the so called head injuries has nothing to do with these morons brains

This subject is no longer on the back burner and going now where soon. This could impact children's football as we know it in the upcoming years!!!!

Jake Day, Barrie Tilghman and all the other local politicians have brain damage, so what's their excuse? Were they NFL players, too?

Thanks to the families for donating those brain samples.

They new the risks that's why they are paid what they are we are a free people and allowed to make our own choices, Another fascist attempt to kill an American past time.

So, let's just get to the end game of these constantly scared of everything losers who could find danger in watching the moon rise.

Some new laws. New "restrictions". New "requirements". New fines.
A new department to make sure of "compliance".

The VERY final desired end game? Cut the testicles off every young boy so he never wants to do ANYTHING tough, rough, dangerous, or risky. Maybe some chemicals to make him like dolls and dresses....
These goofs could even find that sissy soccer sport somehow "dangerous". Oh MY!!! Look!!! He twisted his ankle!!!
If you can't play football, don't get your panties in a wad because other people can (and WANT to). LIFE is dangerous. Sports are, too.
If a baseball moving toward your head at 97 MPH is scary, don't play the game.
If a field hockey stick held above the shoulders is a frightful sight, stay home.
All of these studies are probably started by the same sissies who won't ride a bike without a helmet and won't let their kid climb a tree.
Football is rough and dangerous?
Damn right it is.
That's part of why guys like to play it. Now, turn up the lights and pull your blanket closer.....
Keep cheering (those fantastic Friday night lights!!!!).

All the focus is on football. Well, what about boxing? All they do is punch each other in the head but you don't see studies on them. Why is that?

Football obviously does something to these morons brains, look whst happens every year, johnny manziel drama, Colin kaepernick drama, now Ezekiel Elliott drama. What person in their right mind given such opportunity would go out and keep doing everything possible to have it taken away? As for kaepernick I'm glad you're sitting home unemployed jerko**

The object of boxing/ultimate fighting is BRAIN DAMAGE. It's how you win. No one seems to care about that. Fools.
