Chain Link Crazy

Mr. Day: Tear Down Those Fences

As the photos show, it's fine for the City and County to use chain link fencing on their sites, but not private owners. Can you ID the locations shown?

Chain link fence is the best all around for containing pets and keeping unwanted foot traffic off your property which I think IMPROVES property values all around. They are fairly transparent to a degree that makes them much more unnoticeable than the ugly wood stockade or algae growing bright white vinyl crap.

Besides, who wants to live in a neighborhood where everybody has a stockade wall around their properties? It doesn't look very "Neighborly" to me.

Day will inevitably lose this fight and cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars in litigation

I wish PRMC would put a fence around the pervious parking lot to help keep the drug seekers and panhandlers from using it as a shortcut. Many employees do not feel safe parking there.

Chain link was just installed at the old board of ed building. getting ready for choices? No need for them to follow the rules.

Jake Day you will be sent back to your irrelevant existence soon enough, whatever it actually was urban planner, so called soldier whatever the case was. With you take all those that think they can continue to benefit financially. Those that actually are conceited and arrogant enough to boast on gaining from these types of relationships to use for personal gain. The whole group of you should actually try and come up with something original, not feeding off of others ideas, views, input. FYI there is nothing being so called "prophetic" about dishonestly obtaining information and utilizing it to further ones individual gain.

You didn't even scratch the surface. you can find dozens if not hundreds more.

I have had a chain link in my YUGE back yard for forty years. Had it installed when I purchased the property. It looks just a nice, only not a bright and shiny.
I have heard so much lately about them, I'm getting so I detour a street when coming up on one. I am afraid of them now. Do the jump out in front of your car or surround you and wrap around you? I mean this is serious stuff, scares the dickens out of me. Maybe the man can get his ban, so I won't have to stop driving.

Some are not keeping up to date
1) The Chainlink law has NIT been passed yet
2) All Chain link fencing in place IF law passes, will be Grandfathered in - no one will have to tear down that fence

The current mayor will eventually figure out that changing the color of road paving could being a lot of money in for him and his financial supporters too. Which color would people suggest?

Why do you care about the dog park fence that it only dog park we have around here. Plus the others look like stuff that should be blocked off for idiots not to touch
