Flu Vaccine Ineffective for Seniors Last Winter

The flu vaccine did a poor job protecting older Americans against the illness last winter, even though the vaccine was well-matched to the flu bugs going around.

U.S. health officials on Wednesday released new vaccine data showing it did a so-so job overall.

The vaccine was about 42 percent effective in preventing illness severe enough to send a patient to the doctor's office. But it was essentially ineffective protecting some age groups. That includes people 65 and older — the group that's hardest hit by flu, suffering the most deaths and hospitalizations..

The effectiveness of drugs and vaccines are a mute point. It is all about government control and massive profits for big pharma.

They cant even give this stuff away anymore. But I am sure PRMC still makes money and each shot provided..

The flu vaccine has always won the prize for the most useless.

All Flu Vaccines are Ineffective, except to make you sick... But I wouldn't expect stupid people to understand that...

The Flu Virus has RNA and as such, it changes everyday basically, you can't make a vaccine to fight something that doesn't stay the same ever... So every time you get sick from the Flu virus, it is either mutated or something is different about it, which is why people who get the Flu Vaccine still gets sick later on in the Flu season, and just so you stupid people don't know, they put a live virus in the flu vaccine which in turn makes you sick...

I love when people at my work argue that the Flu vaccine works, yet only when they get the shot, they get sick a day or two later and had they not gotten the shot, they had a better chance of not getting sick...

Beyond useless, vaccines are very dangerous.
The thymerosol alone is a great reason to not accept one, much less the aluminum and adjuvants.

Exactly why I never get one. Don't call me crazy 11:01am. Not getting one has worked for me just as well as you getting the shot.

I'm 61 and haven't had that crap stuck in my veins ever. I did some basic research 20 years ago and stay current with the facts. The shots are useless, dangerous and last but not least make you sick (with the flu). Everytime I go to the pharmacy or doctor I always get the "would you like a flu shot today?". I feel like responding, "No would you like a mercury, aluminum and fetal fluid laced vitamin pill? after all it's good for you."
