United Airlines Bunny

For the money this doctor will be getting, I would gladly allow myself to be knocked out and dragged off the plane! Have my name and reputation slandered all over the world for the sake of Public relations damage control for United. Love their old slogan: "Fly the friendly skies"!!!
I'm sure after this, the doctor will be able to retire and live very well!
Hopefully other Airlines will use this as an example and think twice before booting off a paying passenger in the future. Isn't this Oprah's favorite airline? At least on my next vacation destination, I know which airline to avoid!

I think you wrong-headed they will settle to end the PR nightmare but this guy's was in the wrong. He had left the plane and then snuck back on board. Reports say he called lawyers about being bumped before he left the first time. He is the one who caused his own injuries by resisting the police. United should due him.

The lawyer for the doctor is right. These airlines have been abusing travelers for way too long, and that goes for the TSA too.

You have got to be kidding...the cops beat the h*ll out of the guy. This is the USA, not a police state.

Didn't he buy a standby ticket that by contract allows the airline to boot him if the flight is overbooked? And didn't he violate that contractual agreement by refusing to leave when asked?

I mean, why fry the airline here? They were in the right.
