**Update – Subject Arrested** Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Wanted Subject

Laurel – State Police have arrested Stephon R. Jackson, 18 of Seaford, after a brief pursuit in the Concord area.

Jackson was apprehended by the Troop 5 Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement (P.A.C.E.) team around 5:00 p.m. Thursday February 23, 2017 while he was riding a motorcycle on Henry Drive east of Seaford. Upon locating Jackson, he attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly taken into custody without further incident. A computer check of the motorcycle revealed it was stolen from the Seaford area.

Stephon Jackson was transported back to Troop 5 where he was charged with two counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited as well as the two new charges of Receiving Stolen Property and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned at JP3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $22,000.00 cash bond.
