March 8th, Women's Strike Abandoning "Domestic Duties"

I have polled many women referencing this event from all sides of the political isle and guess what, none of the women I spoke with will be participating.

So that begs the question, will women here on the Shore actually participate with this upcoming event on a Wednesday, the 8th of March and actually take off work, (for those women who work, respectfully)?

I am trying hard to under stand them, but I just don't get it period!
Bunch of spoiled, entitled liberal babies!
Probably never had to work a day in their lives!
Always have been sheltered from reality and not used to being told no!
Can't handle having to compete in the real world or handling real world problems. Always had Mommy and Daddy, or just Mommy to take care of their pampered needs! Man hating bunch of lbgt pussy cats!

I suspect most of the "demonstrators" will be bussed in, not local..

This is not empowering women. Nothing more than a man hating, vulgar speaking, group of women who have nothing better to. If they were truly interested in empowerment of women they would be embracing those like KellyAnne Conway, Ivanka, Tiffany and Melanie Trump as well as many others on the right like Nia Love, Amarosa, etc. The list is very long.
Nope - just a vulgar bunch of manhaters.

IMO "Domestic Duties" is unpaid house work and child care. I am a woman who believes house work and child care are a part of the commitment in being a wife and mother.

Now if I understand this latest crap correctly I am expected to take a day off from my paying job, do no domestic duties (cleaning, cooking, making love with my hubby etc. ) leave my kidos to fend for themselves, and walk the streets in a dumbass March as a protest against what I most love and enjoy.

If I do that I hope Mr Boss has the good sense to fire me, the law locks me up for child abuse and my husband kicks my butt to the street and finds a real woman who cares and respects the roles of a marriage.

IMO those unmarried females with no children only have domestic duties if they chose to. No reason for them to March.

Just call me crazy - if you think joining those "pussy hats" is the "right thing to do to be happy

Big deal. What's a strike if you live alone, with your parents, or another woman. I've never understood the :movement", in the first place. Exactly what have women lost in the last year? Ten years? I would agree, unequal pay and lack of promotion because of sex are wrong and should be investigated. Birth control is readily available, but should not be free. Abortion, although controversial, is legal. I don't know, I guess that's why I live alone. I'd hate to get one of the complainers.

None of these women would make good wives.

I have worked hard in my life time to empower myself. These crazy ladies
are an embarrassment to my gender! So NO NO way will I be there.

You said it right 12:29! I am a working Mom, I guess I am supposed to not go to work today and let crap get so messed up that I have twice as much to do tomorrow. Oh and not feed my 3 year old or dress him either, right? What a bunch of crap these women are. Yes, they deserved to be fired from their jobs (if they have one) And not taking care of your home because you have a bug up your A** is the dumbest thing ever. Real women know that marriage is a partnership and it comes with the territory. If they would stop man-hating they might gt a good guy like mine!

They weren't are aren't spoiled. That's the problem. They've never been the center of anyone's attention and are now acting out their feelings of inadequacies. This is a way of them showing off, begging for attention.

I love my domestic duties. I'm happy being a wife and mother. And the days my children were born were among the happiest of my life. At the end of my life my only regret will be that we didn't have more children, and I thank God every day I got to stay home with mine. Sorry for the wenches in the p-hats..but if the hat fits..wear it?
