Sheriff Richard Jones, Ohio elector, sets anti-Trump letters on fire

An Ohio sheriff and elector is causing a stir on social media after he rounded up all of the anti-Donald Trump letters he’d received since the election and then filmed himself setting them on fire following Monday’s Electoral College vote.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones, an outspoken supporter of Mr. Trump, was one of 18 electors who voted for the the president-elect this week in Columbus.

Sheriff Jones said he and his wife later celebrated the vote by burning the “thousands” of letters he received from across the country by people urging him not to vote for Mr. Trump, a local CBS News affiliate reported.

“You see I got a lot of letters to burn,” the sheriff said in a video he posted to Twitter, The Blaze reported. “I’m going to be burning letters all night.”
