Reviving the Clinton e-mail probe: Carlos Danger strikes again

Because this election apparently wasn’t bizarre enough already, now the investigation of Anthony Weiner’s sexting with an underage girl has revived the FBI probe of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail mess.

FBI Director James Comey’s announcement Friday of fresh evidence, “e-mails that appear to be pertinent” to the Clinton case, was stunning enough.

Comey, recall, de facto cleared Clinton because he’d decided she didn’t mean to compromise national security by using her home-brewed server, though her “extremely careless” behavior had done just that. What new e-mails could alter that calculation?
