Yes, completely stupid to help an elderly man trying his best to provide for himself and whatever family members he cares for. ...what the heck is wrong with your contempt for people?

Did it ever occur to anyone that he might like and choose what he's doing? If you talk to a lot of the elderly they want to keep working at some level but most of all they really enjoy the interaction and company
Making $40 or $50 a day along with Social Security benefits is not a great income, but I'm glad that he keeps active and now has a nice nest egg to fall back on in his last years.
God bless him and all his donors! Now he can just do it for Joy, and has a secure retirement. Thank you for all who gave, you have truly made a mark in our great society, and have done the work of God for your fellow man.
