dumbass tourons. they should be killed off by their own accidents but they usually involve some innocent person riding along minding their own business. Left lane campers. Tailgaters. Aggressive speeders. Idiots who block you in and won't let you pass.

I understand why there is so much road rage. And now they are starting to shoot people who piss them off. Just hope that I won't be shot with a bullet meant for someone else.

Why am I not surprised that it happened at Sixty Foot Rd ?

Impatience, lack of driving skills, lack of courtesy, indifference, ego, entitlement. Take your pick.

It's a dangerous intersection for many reasons. If it were for the reasons that 10:18 suggested, all the RT 50 intersections would have as many accidents as that one.

Tough intersection. 60 Foot Road carries a lot of cross and merge traffic, in a relative sense. People get impatient or misjudge closing speeds of approaching traffic, or both. Predictable results.

Your driving instructor told you about following too closely; problem gets worse at higher speeds where combination of inattention and stopping distances come into play.

Hope injuries are minimal.

Another Cluster F*** by a bunch of renegade county volunteer firemen. When the Heck is Bob Culver going to take control of the Fire Service in Wicomico County and make it a County Department with some oversite and accountability. If they don't like it then take their funding away. Nothing says they can't still volunteer, they just have a paid county wide chief and the paramedics and firemen at the stations will fall under the chief.

I'm not so sure that all this road rage and failure to drive in a decent manner is exclusive to this particular area. I have been driving to and from the western shore for 40 some years and I have never witnessed so many bizarre and violent accidents than I have witnessed this year alone. It is one for all and all for one out there. People are texting, talking, eating, merging and saluting all at the same time. When I know I have loved ones coming to visit I always check the times to make sure that I am praying for them. It has become a nasty world folks.

No intersection would be dangerous if people paid attention to their driving and quit the aggressiveness.

3:08 I have driven in almost every state and have lived in 7. The eastern shore is the worst for people not staying in the right lane. #1 reason for road rage are left lane drivers who do not pass and who do not get over.
