Washington Post Attacks Christian Leaders as ‘Enemies of Equality’

In a macabre hit piece, the Washington Post has launched a smear campaign against important Christian leaders who espouse Biblical morality on homosexuality, labeling them as “enemies of equality.”

Employing hyperbolic, McCarthy-esque rhetoric, Post writer Jonathan Capehart actually states that there is a “vast right-wing conspiracy” out to deny gays in America their “humanity and dignity.” Capehart goes on to say that there is a “conservative cabal actively working the levers of power to block their rights.”

Mining material from the LGBT lobby group “Freedom for All Americans” (FFAA), Capehart says there has been a coordinated attack on LGBT persons under the guise of defense of religious liberty in America, such as “Indiana’s so-called religious freedom law.”

The FFAA created a chart, conveniently reprinted by the Post, blacklisting the Christian leaders most active in opposing same-sex marriage and affirming the rights of Americans to conscientious objection when asked to do something they consider morally wrong.

In his remarkably prescient 2015 dissent in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito predicted that after the Court’s woeful decision proponents of a traditional understanding of marriage would be pilloried despite the Court’s assurances that rights to freedom of conscience would be respected.

“It will be used,” he wrote, “to vilify Americans who are unwilling to assent to the new orthodoxy.”

There was a time when ministers preached against the mixing of the races, same thing. You can always count on people finding stuff in the bible to back up their prejudices.

Persecution of Christians is coming to this country in a big way soon. Contrary to false doctrine which is floating around the American evangelical churches that we are going to just fly away in the rapture before anything bad happens to us is just silly. Tell that garbage to the Middle Eastern Christians that are getting their heads chopped off for not denying Christ.

Christians have always been persecuted and killed for following the teachings of Jesus, just as He said in the Scriptures. We just hear about it more now because of social media. Our society has become more immoral and spiritually ignorant due to not reading and studying God's Word and sincerely praying to Him. Not some prayer typed in a bulletin every week, but a true conversation with God from the heart.

A Gaybot is not equal to me in any way, sorry about facts.

And quit pushing this agenda in my face, I don't push Hetero in yours.

Go live your life and have a good time doing it.

Leave us alone to do the same.

I agree Steve.
Most of us can meet new people, conduct business, or interact socially without the need to describe our sexual behaviors. It never occurs to me to make it a point that the person with whom I am speaking is fully aware that I engaged in sexual behaviors yesterday with a woman. It just never seems appropriate to mention the subject. Right?

But homosexuals and sodomites find it mandatory that all of us are "aware" that they engage in particular behaviors. They actually tell us that it is a matter of their identity. You cannot know me or interact with me without the mandatory acknowledgement that you are fine with my behaviors last night, or whatever.
Why?

Why do any of us need to "recognize" your behaviors?
And why do you "identify" yourself with certain of your behaviors?
Why is that so necessary?

Thank you.
