In April, a student at D.M. Sauceda Middle School — a girl younger than 14 years old — told the school nurse about her pregnancy.
“The victim told her that she was pregnant and the father of her baby is her 20-year-old boyfriend, Rodolfo Nava Jr.,” according to the criminal complaint.
During an interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo County, the girl said her mother knew about the relationship and allowed her to stay at Nava’s home for about a month.
