Quantico Creek Road

After some consideration, Roads have decided to close Quantico Creek Road today and tomorrow for a period of the day.... This will allow us to hopefully get this project, for the most part, finished by the weekend. Because of the width of the road, flagging operations will not only be less safe, but will not allow for continuous work. We will be closing it between 9:00 am and open it back up by 3:00 pm. This will allow school buses and work commute to get through unaffected. Again, thank you for your tolerance of this situation.

Where is Nanticoke Wharf Road

Please clean up the mess on Hickory Mill Road. After a heavy rain the road is down to one lane in places due to holes and high water. PLUS the other end is up and downs like a carnival ride.

Roaring point campground road was just graveled and is in good condition. Mr. Culver has to pick up many pieces that were ignored in the last administration , they left it in a mess. What the hell do you think will happen after the Obama administration, we are in deep DO DO .

Rick Pollitt is kind of like George Bush! Everything is his his fault
When will it be Mr. Culver's fault? Lee Outten has been there for years! The problem is there has been no Public Works Director since they fired the last one! Correct if I am wrong please

Your wrong

What's everyone complaining about... You got a revenue cap. The roads can only be as good as the funds allocated to the roads.

Some of you crack me up. Nanticoke Wharf Road is a stone road that is bumpy because the campers use it like a race track. Hickory mill road will be paved once a drainage project is completed that is in design. The roads division lost significant staff in 2009 and half their budget. They aren't going to be able to grade roads like they used to, or some other services. It wasn't until two years ago that they started getting money to pave again. There has been a new director in place for over a year. If you have questions, or are concerned about a particular road, you should pick up the phone and call instead of complaining on a post.

That is NOT TRUE its bumpy because of the State equipment tearing up the road has NOTHING to do with campers trailers.

Rick pollitt was to busy with his bar crew spending the tax payers $$.
