Baltimore Rapper Tyriece 'Lor Scoota' Watson Fatally Shot

A young rapper is gunned down in Baltimore after hosting an event promoting peace.

23-year-old Tyriece Watson was shot and killed about 7 p.m. Saturday while driving on Moravia Road near Harford Road.

He was known in rap circles as "Lor Scoota."

Baltimore police say a gunman wearing a white bandana stepped into the street and opened fire. Watson died at the hospital.

City Councilman Nick Mosby is mourning the loss. He says Watson recently accompanied him on a tour of Baltimore high schools, urging students not to drop out.

Baltimore is a raging sesspool thanks to the Democrats running the city.

It's a shame that apparently someone trying to do good is gunned down, hope they find the killers and they get life or the needle. There are not enough good young men around today trying to do good, why don't the young people in general get behind them and get off drugs and violence?

This is Baltimore. They need to clean house on the political side. Then let the cops take the gloves off. Who can blame police for less then proactive attitude. You have a Mayor and State's Attorney that head hunt cops. They can not get quality applicants anymore. The ripple effect of Mosby and Blake are to blame here. Less than 8% of the population are causing the city to slide into a Chiraq atmosphere.

If this slide is not stopped no one will go to Charm City. I will be watching the Ravens on the tube and spending my money on the Shore.
