WBOC Obsessed With Guy Who Kills Himself

This is a perfect example of how the Main Stream Media LIES about their alleged "PROTOCOL".

For THREE days now WBOC has obsessed over a guy who parked his vehicle on a bridge and jumped to his death. The Main Stream Media claims they do NOT cover suicides, really? So WBOC, do tell us why you have repeated this story for THREE days now and continue to publish it all over social media.

I'll tell you why, because they are desperate for any kind of traffic. Funny how LIBERALS treat these cowards like heroes.

2:24, aka EBT Blogger, You're damn right I'm calling this soldier a coward. Another form of a coward is a wussy like YOU who hides behind anonymous but is easy to pick out by spelling Joe, joe. Everyone has a fingerprint on the Internet.

Coward yes, but did the VA fail him to get the help he needed to avoid this tragedy. All lives matter!

It's easy to label someone....never assume you know something about a person until you walk in their shoes! People handle adversities different....does anyone know what was happening in his personal life???? It's truly a shame that he lost his life. Remember he has a family.

6:15, On that thought, what does it say about WBOC broadcasting his suicide for three days straight?

Anonymous said...

This isn't going well, as it shouldn't. A military employed man took his own life for reasons unknown.

If one looks at the present state of the military under this present administration, one may understand this man's consternation, and also the present day procedures in dealing with Veterans' issues.

Obama has no clue on how to be anything close to supervising a Military and we really need to elect a new Commander In Chief who understands the economic and political impact of the Office.

Trump, anyone? Please read up on all candidates, and include your pocket Constitution in your reading!

just one of many vets who are taking their lives.

6,500 former military personnel killed themselves in 2012. More veterans succumbed to suicide than were killed in Iraq. In 2012, 177 active-duty soldiers committed suicide, conversely 176 soldiers were killed in combat. In other words, more soldiers committed suicide compared to being killed in action. In 2012, the study concluded that Army had the highest number of suicides compared to any other service branch. [1]
In 2013, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs released a study that covered suicides from 1999 to 2010, which showed that roughly 22 veterans were committing suicide per day, or one every 65 minutes.[4] Some sources suggest that this rate may be undercounting suicides.[5] A recent analysis found a suicide rate among veterans of about 30 per 100,000 population per year, compared with the civilian rate of 14 per 100,000.[5][6] However, the comparison was not adjusted for age and sex.
The total number of suicides differs by age group; 31% of these suicides were by veterans 49 and younger while 69% were by veterans aged 50 and older.[7] As with suicides in general, suicide of veterans is primarily male, with about 97 percent of the suicides being male in the states that reported gender.[6]
In 2015, the Clay Hunt Veterans Suicide Prevention Act passed in the Senate[8] and was then enacted as Pub.L. 114–2 on February 12, 2015

sure are a lot of cowards huh Joe?

A bit about VA Care: Joe Biden's son was past his eligibility cut off when Joe put him in Walter Reed. For anyone that is waiting for VA care, just know that the Administration bumped your place in line. Whether Johns Hopkins could have saved Beau, if was not FREE to the Bidens like Walter Reed was. Having been a reservist that served on active duty, II am aware of the limits on reservist hospital care.

Glad they finally found his body so his family can have some closure.
