Subject: False complaints against men: a weapon of the far left?

For many years, there has been a tendency to ridicule any attempt to claim that the radical left wing is connected with the gender movement and false allegations filed by women against men.

It seems, however, that two developments in the last two weeks lend credence to this very suspicion.

Journalist and TV-radio presenter Jacky Levy devoted his latest column in Israel Hayom to last week's Justice Ministry decision to change Prosecution Instruction 2.5, which had, for the last 12 years, effectively given a free pass to women who file false charges against men. The new version of the instruction makes it possible to file charges against women who file false charges, either in the course of divorce battles or in other situations.

Levy wrote that a new study by Dr. Yoav Mazeh, which was sponsored by the Kohelet Forum, found that between 30 and 70 percent of allegations of violence and sexual abuse of children filed during divorce procedures turned out to be false.

The Kohelet Forum is "a body with a right-wing agenda," added Levy. "They are the only ones who sought to find out the truth about false allegations. I'm not even asking what could possibly be the connection between the left/right debate and the matter of false allegations. But I have my own guesses, and they are connected to the entire matter of the myth of victimhood."

False accusers of sexual assault need to be charged. Using the court system for personal gain or vengeance is a repugnant practice, one that should be outlawed and prosecuted to the fullest.

Divorce lawyers have been telling women clients for years to get a better share; accuse the husband of assault, or sexual abuse of the kids.
When you offer to take a lie detector test, they authorities don't even want to hear it, yet when they want you to take one, they never let up!

False accusers of racism should be charged as well.

The story is written about the sexual allegations raised by women in Israel. But it's a major problem here, too. There's an assumption of guild attached to every complaint. Men's lives are ruined with just a hint of sexual wrongdoing or battery, but the women who raise those complaints are not held accountable when and if (the big IF) they are disproved.

Guilt, not guild. Slip of the finger.

for the left, the severity of the accusation ALWAYS trumps (no pun intended) the amount of, or lack thereof, evidence. Tawana Brawley, Duke Lacrosse, etc. the list goes on and on. the more outrageous, the better.

There are a bunch of men on the Sex registry that did nothing but get a bad wife and a divorce.

Many parents have been falsely accused of molesting their children while embroiled in divorces, yet when the second hearing occurs, the 'allegations' are dropped after wasting the court and child protective services' time along with the accused parent not being able to see their child for a week or more. Plus many defendants are forced to get a lawyer which costs money to fight these false allegations in the review hearing.

Why doesn't the judicial system render punitive actions against these accusers when CPS finds that they are completely false? Fines? Time in Jail? Pay for defendant's legal fees? If they did this, one would probably see a substantial drop in these false vindictive allegations.

12:56 PM - and hold the accusers' attorneys responsible, too, as it's all too common for them to be in on the ruse. Go ahead, judges, the attorneys can afford it.
