BREAKING NEWS: SOME DOGS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AT WICOMICO HUMANE SOCIETY TOMORROW

Wednesday April 20, 2016 some of the dogs will be available for adoption at the Humane Society of Wicomico County.

To get to this point we have to thank all the groomers who volunteered their services, and the veterinarians who have been involved as well. We would also like to thank the Humane Society of the United States for their assistance as well. In addition, we would once again like to thank the entire community and surrounding areas for their generous donations. We have received so many donations that we needed temporary storage for the supplies. We thank Mr. Mills for providing us with cube trailers and Purdue for their trailers, giving us the ability to secure these donations.

We would also like to thank Somerset Animal Control, Worcester Animal Control, Last Chance Pet Rescue, First State SPCA, Wags N’ Wishes, the Animal Resource Foundation, Talbot Humane, and Baywater Animal Rescue for their assistance. These organizations have received or will be receiving some of the dogs.

The Humane Society website (www.wicomicohumane.org) will be updated as animals become available for adoption. As a reminder, each animal has to be examined, vaccinated, groomed, micro chipped, and spay/neutered before it can be adopted.

For further information regarding animal care contact via email: execdirector@wicomicohumane.org

Questions regarding legal charges should be directed to the State’s Attorney’s Office at 410-548- 4880.

This is what is wrong with the Eastern Shore. All talk and no follow up. There are 14 comments on the story about a rapper with an ankle bracelet that went off at Whitehouse, but only 1 comment about DPL/Exelon credit to electric bill.

Just like TMZ. So sad. The issues that matter are passed over for the BS stories about nonsense. The reality TV mentality. SMH!

10:23 It was attempted rape and yes, parents of students want to know what is going on with the case. Is the accused still in custody? Who is he? Hearing dates?
