MSP Princess Anne Death Investigation

On 2/18/16 at approximately 1921 hours Troopers from the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barracks responded to 11345 Brocket Square, Apt. 6A, Princess Anne, MD for a death investigation.

Upon arrival the Troopers identified the deceased as Margaret Linnel Kersey, 44 of Princess Anne, MD. Kersey was found deceased in an apartment where the primary heat source was a kerosene heater. A second individual was also located in the apartment that was unresponsive and transported to PRMC for medical treatment. Kersey was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy. A cause of death has not yet been determined at this time and carbon monoxide poisoning has not been ruled out.

Very sad! Why does all the serious calls go to msp and not Somerset County Sheriffs.

That's a damn shame! I am guessing they had a kerosene heater because their primary heat did not work,I have seen that a lot.

Because in all honesty your SoCo Sheriff's dept has no interest in doing anything more than serving papers.
