We went to this, last time it was held. Very informative, real-life and practical, and we came away with useful knowledge.

Highly recommend it for everyone!

This is a bittersweet feeling, on one hand it is good that MSP plans to offer this class, on the other hand it is Sad that we have to deal with this type of madness in America. RockawalKen

The police want to tell us how to deal with an active shooter?
At the same time they tell us that as honest, taxpaying citizens "we, the people" CAN'T BE TRUSTED to carry our weapons.
Here's my "active shooter" advice and training ---
Carry your handgun all the time. Don't let ANY man tell you that you need his PERMISSION to use your rights. Really?
Has Mr. Jefferson been reincarnated?
An "active shooter" opens up on the people in the quick checkout line?
Keep a cool head.
Then, as quickly as possible, put two rounds in HIS head.
It all begins with the fact that YOU are armed and not waiting for an armed person to drive from Salisbury, look around, call for back up, and start roping the scene off and writing death reports. Yours included.
NO ONE who does that has any fear of a jury if I'm on it.
Or continue to believe you are safe as long as there is a guy with a gun 15-20 minutes away. What a comforting liberal dream.
Keep cheering. Keep packing heat.

I heard CPl L Stevens of the WCSO is making a special guest appearance. Heard he is going to first show the Troopers how he does it and will show them how they should do it.

Oops! Silly troopers. It wasn't supposed to be known! Itnwas supposed to be kept quiet like the bomb scares so they people will think its real and we need more cops!

I'm with Imclain here. Funny how they recognize there will be active shooters, but deny us basic protection from them.

I'll guess the lesson they will teach is how fast to run away screaming, "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!".
