$1M Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Berlin

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A ticket sold on Maryland’s Eastern Shore was almost worth the massive $949.8 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday night.

Lottery officials say one lucky person is holding a second-tier winning ticket worth $1 million.

The ticket was purchased at Food Lion, located on 10126 Old Ocean City Boulevard, in Berlin

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location.

That is very encouraging especially ahead of today's Powerball raffle. Wish everyone luck in the draw.

The huge Powerball jackpot was won at last. They say there were three winners who will split the 1.5bn dollars prize.
