As you have said Joe, it was their election to lose. Nobody gets treatment like Palmer and his outfit. They have been able to manipulate the "system" for far too long.....

HILARIOUS!!! and sadly true.

Salisbury is "little Chicago" the original home of corrupt politics. The insider power and select power grabbers in this area stinks of corruption. Money is power and we all know who hold the purse strings in this area. Weak politicians along with insider trading, makes this area another Chicago.

This blog site bad mouths a lot of people that don't deserve it. Although, this is one topic that I have been hoping to see on here. That group of people, devreco, and all their subsidiaries and all their other businesses are the most corrupt group in Salisbury. No matter what goes on in politics or in the economy, these people get richer without doing any actual work. Everyone loves them because of how rich they are but I promise they only care about themselves and they will only be a part of something that they know they will gain from

The entitlement generation is not limited by position in society! It exist in the upper crust.

Seems that someone who would denigrate others by calling them "retards" is at best grossly insensitive and at worst intolerant. Perhaps you are both.

Furthermore, Headquarters Live is "dynamic?" We think not.

Haters gonna hate.

How many times were plans for that firehouse rejected before it was sold to the good ole boy network for pennies on the dollar. How many other publicly owned building have been sold for pennies on the dollar? The only project I have actually seen finished is headquarters. It's real nice, but its not bringing enough people downtown, or bringing enough money into the city to justify practically giving it away.

1:35 completely agree with your comments. and will add Headquarters Live isn't making it. It may look good, but appeals only to the entitled young crowd and those who swim in their circle. Not enough to make a success.

It seems to me they continue to throw good money after bad. It's Salisbury so if they want to be foolish let them. They are only hurting themselves. Without SU this city is a ghost town. No money, no class, no nothing.

Hundreds of thousands of unoccupied residential and business space downtown, an the plan is to build more and take away parking?

GENIUS!

Today's DT has a letter by Gillis supporting Heath, who voted for the parking lot freebie. Spies voted no, and we should vote for him, not Heath for that reason among others.
