Why is it held on the same day as the annual Early Childhood Fair that's held at the Cebtre at Salisbury? Why would the Board of Ed do that? If there was more of working together then many gaps in services could be bridged!

Bridge the gap by reducing the number of babies born to people who can't support them. The news flash is that society can't raise them for you any more. Why can't this be the message?

The gap is closing rapidly because the number of high performing students in Wicomico County continues to drop by leaps and bounds. Maybe we could have a conference about why our school system does almost nothing for our strongest students. We could talk about heterogeneous grouping and low standards for behavior.

You can empower people by helping them realize they have to work to support themselves.
