INCIDENT: Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident
DATE / TIME: January 13, 2015 @ 1154 Hours
LOCATION: Double Creek Road @ Double Creek Point Road, Chestertown (QA)

NARRATIVE: Emergency personnel responded to location for a reported rollover single motor vehicle accident with possible ejection. The driver of the Ford pickup was being worked on by EMS personnel and was alert and speaking with medical personnel on arrival of the deputy. The driver was then transported by Maryland State Police aviation. While enroute to the hospital, the driver went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived. The deceased was identified as Bruce William Parks (48) of Chestertown. Preliminary investigation indicates that speed and failure to wear a seatbelt as contributing factors.
