I'm not sure if you experience the same problem in other Counties or school districts but last year we received extremely early morning calls, (like 5:00 AM) and multiple calls that had absolutely NOTHING to do with our Grandson.
We don't want to hear about every single thing going on at Delmar High School and with today's technology you'd think they could break those phone calls down to a specific grade level.
Nevertheless, this morning we received yet another phone call at 7:00 AM to give updates on the upcoming school year. REALLY, 7:00 AM on a SUNDAY!
Granted, I have been up since 5:30 AM but this is one of the days my Wife gets to sleep in, not today. On behalf of ALL of the Parents from Delmar, CUT IT OUT!

Same thing happens in Wicomico, however Fredrickson's voice is now computer generated. Got a call Friday afternoon from Fredrickson and just laughed and hung up.
School hasn't even started yet. No need for any calls until it starts. Send out any important info in the mail.

Wicomico county has updated the home message system. The new system so far is much nicer than the old system. As with anything, there are mistakes that are made. Most people realize this. Then again you are the town crier. God forbid this was some sort of utopian society where you would have nothing to whine about. You'd die from sheer boredom.

Last week around 3:00 PM they called trying to sell tee shirts.
I'd like to find out which idiot didn't realize they set it to call for 7 am instead of 7 pm and call them over and over during the night. I was beyond angry. Did you catch the "good evening" part of the message? Damn idiot!!!!!!!
Not to worry; there will be an early morning apology call tomorrow!
The apology call came at 8:30pm
I made it so that they call my cellphone and I keep it silent during the night or until I wake up. Now they no longer wake me up at 6:10 in the morning about a fog delay.
