I can't tell you how much it has saddened me to go to our local stores and not once hear a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. 

I went to WalMart north, Sam's Club and Tractor Supply on Saturday and never once saw a bell ringer. 

I have never lived in a more giving area in my life, what changed?
