Hello Joe;
I am much too busy reading the story of Victoria’s secret fantasy bra and why we like Jennifer Anniston, or the self help ad of what we should not say to our boyfriends to worry about the world’s impending manufacturing and food crisis, or the race riots. Someone will impanel a group and do a report after all, costing the tax payers millions, and the crisis will be in full swing .and oh, was it anywhere on the
news” (did the internet waste more than three lines of precious advertising space).. and the reactions will be those of surprise and shock, and the Americans will once again suck it up, and complain but do nothing. About all they can do is vote, and they don’t do that we all know. Perhaps I would write a blog like so many, perhaps I should call on all “mature” adults to help solve the problems.
Democracy is a contact sport someone said…but we certainly do not participate we don’t coach our teams, we do not get rid of lousy players.(we do pay them too much) For the thousands and millions of hours spent watching sports one would think that someone would understand that government is very closely related to contact sports..we love em’ why don’t we run our county the same way as one of the winning est coaches in the NFL? Does he have secrets to team management ?would they work on Congress? I am writing this comment because there has to be a change in attitude, and it has to start somewhere, I can think of couple of “activists “left and right who seem to have some answers, but the Ferguson debacle clearly tells the citizens that our elected officials are STUPID; I am embarrassed. Totally ashamed…deeply offended that the people running things are that STUPID, but they are not … I have concluded it is easier to claim stupidity than to have morals and courage to do what is right.
We must take charge, this is our country, we are failing ourselves and certainly our children and our grand children. I had to explain the “riots’ to my children, without prejudice, that people behaved badly because they were not treated fairly, 50 years later I have to explain the “riots” again, to my grand children, for the exact same reason, though we are now an inter-racial family. Dear God…oh, excuse me, there is an article I want to read about Kim Kardsiansan’s underwear “failure” at her favorite restaurant. What was it? I saw a headline about the world food crisis?
It appears that we need help, and the young’ ens ain’t gonna do it, guess we have to do it again, that is the way it is with contact sports, we have to play the old guys with the experience cause the new guys just want the money, the endorsements the super bowl rings; eventually they will get it, get tacked often enough to understand what us old guys already know….it takes a team effort…lets talk

NO, white people didn't riot and burn, and the jury 'failed to convict' in his case...let's go figure the difference...he wasn't 18? Didn't wear his pants down below his 'crack'? Had a lot of money? Successful football career? Mama didn't act as a 'keynote' speaker at a public forum? How did this happen???
