Army Officer Turned Away by Security at Entrance of Daughter’s High School — Want to Guess Why?

Sherwood Baker was about to head inside his daughter’s high school in Rochester, Michigan, to talk to a counselor about her class schedule when security stopped him at the entrance. Baker was told he couldn’t enter. Why? He needed to go home and change his outfit before entering Rochester Adams High School.

You see, Baker is a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army and was in uniform that day — which apparently didn’t conform to the dress code.

“The security guard told him that men and women in uniform weren’t allowed because it may offend another student,” Baker’s wife Rachel Ferhadson told WJBK-TV in Detroit.

Oh Horrors. Might OFFEND someone. Now what kind of redblooded American would be offended by a military uniform - worn by a person who has put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we have in this country? I guess they were offended because they are NOT an American. Probably a refugee from a 3rd world country, or a Muslim, or a wetpants liberal. How embarrassing to be associated with a school and the school district that put that kind of dress code into existence. I hope you can sleep good tonight you douche bag.

What foolishness is this, Michigan? Let's see a copy of that dress code.

From the school's website:

DRESS AND GROOMING
The Board of Education recognizes that each student’s mode of dress and grooming is a manifestation of personal style and individual preference. The Board will not interfere with the right of students and their parents to make decisions regarding their appearance, except when their choice affects the educational program of the District.
The Board authorizes the Superintendent/designee to enforce school regulations prohibiting dress or grooming practices which present a hazard to the health or safety of the student himself/herself or to others in the school; materially interfere with school work, create disorder, or disrupt the educational program; cause excessive wear or damage to school property; or prevent the student from achieving his/her own educational objectives because of blocked vision or restricted movement.
The Superintendent/designee shall develop procedures to implement this policy, which designate the principal/designee as the arbiter of student dress and grooming in his/her building.

It looks like somebody made a judgement call. There's no information on the site about parents' or visitors' or even teachers' mode of dress.

Does it ever occur to the F*N liberal Democrats that the little minorities they are worried about offending really offends us the Majority.

That security guard and who ever made that rule needs to be charged with treason.

I can't wait till the Civil War begins.

10:22 - the second civil war will begin with one fed up patriot taking out some liberal democrat moron (sorry for repeating myself) for doing something stupid just like this...nobody will admit to seeing anything - and it will be repeated in numerous locations pretty quickly.

Make sure you're not doing something deemed stupid by these patriots, and you'll be able to stand back and watch society implode!

Only idiots wear that uniform

Stop killing people for this evil government.

Many don't support the government but want the taxpayers to keep supporting them. How about we cap welfare at three kids and deduct breakfast and lunch money from food stamps if the taxpayers are providing free meals for the kids at school?
