Authorities Investigate Ocean City Diving Accident

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Maryland authorities are investigating a diving accident in Ocean City that left a Pennsylvania man critically injured.

Maryland Natural Resources Police say it occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday night as a group was returning a pontoon boat to a rental facility after visiting Seacrets bar.

Authorities say 23-year-old Kiefer Kuhn of Dover, Pennsylvania, dove head first from the slow-moving boat into very shallow waters of Isle of Wight Bay.

I hate reading this kind of stuff. Prayer for the injured young man and please please people be careful in all you do. So many tragedies and heartaches could be prevented if people only thought before they act.

Alcohol, Pennsylvania tourist not familiar with his surroundings doing dumb stuff=IRONY. Sorry for his injuries and what he will have to go through for the rest of his life, but this happens every year and there is a lesson to be learned.
