What the Heck Happened to America?
Senior NSA executive Thomas Drake is an expert on spying in Stasi Germany … having studied it for years.
Drake told Washington’s Blog that the U.S. has adopted the Stasi model:
“Collect it all, know it all” [the NSA's model] is actually the Stasi model. It’s not just know everything; we have to be able to keep everything that we want to know, even if we don’t know it yet.
It’s a collect it all first mentality … and then we’ll get to know it all. I call it “feeding the beast”.
I keep shuddering because I’m intimately familiar with the East German surveillance state mentality.
A lieutenant colonel for the Stasi East German’s – based upon his experience – agrees. And German Chancellor Angela Merkel – who grew up in Stasi Germany – says the NSA is exactly the same. Top American constitutional experts also say that the Obama and Bush administration are worse than theStasi East Germans.

Agreed 6:22, 90% of Democrats and 70% of Republicans belong to the club from Hell. That is the only explanation for this country's rapid descent to Hell. The so called "evil" Tea Party is the last hope of returning this country to its Christian/moral roots. The NWO controlled media is on the forefront of the descent. We all will die and meet the Maker. The media and it's cohorts will be frying for a long time for the fruits of their labors.
What I can't get a grip on is this --- these people who are telling us about this total, invasive , and illegal all encompassing surveillance of everyone are the people who KNOW about it --- not some conspiracy freak.
Yet the sheep just go on grazing, spending more time arguing about who should have won American Idol than the future of this country and the environment in which their children will grow up.
At this rate, it won't be long until critics of the government are just rounded up in the middle of the night and disappear forever.
Oh. Right. It could never happen here.
Aaahhhhh.....the same thing we USED to thing about secret trials and secret prisons. Warrantless searches. Nazi checkpoints. Jailing of news reporters. Confiscation of property and money without trial or charges. Wiretapping and surveillance of EVERY form of electronic communication. Never could happen here. Yup. USED to say that....
Don't let any facts get in the way of your constant cheering. I wouldn't want to burst your bubble of inane stupidity or ask that you pause for a moment and consider what you are cheering for....
