I remember our folks taking us to a nice restaurant for some holiday occasion. My two sisters and I were given a half dollar each by a couple sitting nearby as they left after their meal, saying to our parents how well-behaved and respectful we were. I was about ten and my sisters eight and three.
Eisenhower was still in The White House and times were different. We all three raised kids of the same stuff.
Canada does not pander to civil rights groups.A business can make an independent decision to do something that here in the US would be labeled racist.Think about it.
I like it....some of the parents here really need to have their @$$es kicked for what they let their brats do in public!
i still prefer the restaraunts that flat-out BAN kids.
Still another sign of the end of our civilization as we know it: Rewarding people for doing what is only proper, correct, and (what should be)expected. When in the hell did we start going down this path?
Believe it or not, there WAS a time when the restaurant management would approach a family with out-of-control, misbehaving children and actually ask them to leave the establishment because they were bothering the rest of the customers.
Our socity is doomed, we reward people for doing nothing also, look at the Nobel Peace Prize, being awarded to Obama for just getting elected! (must have been really for the biggest scam ever pulled, as he is not a U.S. Citizen)
