The way to obtain happiness is to share and give to others. Happiness is like a boomerang, it comes back to you. Great job ladies.
I am not a big fan of just giving away items to needy people. I feel they should be required to do something whether it be helping in like a community garden project in exchange but I do like HALO after finding this on their site---- "HALO DOES NOT receive any Federal or State grants that would compromise our ability to proclaim and demonstrate the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ."
I think this is a worthy organization for anyone who wants to donate and keep it local at the same time.
@12:57 Go ahead and keep yours because HALO nor the Homeless population don't need anything else from people like you! Greedy, and Selfish! HALO asks for things like this to be able to give people who HAVE NOTHING a meal, with a beverage! Shame on you, and I will pray for you that you are never in a position of not having the basic essentials that you are obviously taking for granted!

Never know when it can be you that may be a guest at HALO, therefore, it's good to help others regardless of how little you maybe able to give.
@3:57 NO I DID NOT! I am a REGISTERED REPUBLICAN! But when does it matter what your Party is or who you voted for to do the right thing? I have a heart, and I have and do volunteer at local shelters, and until you see how humble those people can be when someone shows them some kindness. That is one of the BIGGEST PROBLEMS with AMERICA today. Everyone wants to blame EVERYTHING on the GOVERNMENT! This is simply a local organization asking for local people in the area to help them out and DONATE!
