The Messick arrest is a false charge.
The "trooper" (mercenary) was abusing this girl to the point of physical harm and Messick interceded in the assault to defend her from the bodily harm the jackboot was inflicting, all because of part of a joint in the ashtray.

Where was the checkpoint?

How can they arrest anyone for something other than dui? The check point is to look for drunks . Not drunk then no reason to run an i.d. these check points even for dui is illegal. It needs to stop.

6 drunks picked up and how many man hours were wasted from how many different departments? How many ordinary citizens were stopped and harassed by the revenuers? Yup those kids postig videos waving automatic weapons have all been rounded up, the gangs have all been run out of town. good use of resources!
go git em barney!

Where did you pass the Bar exam?

6:31 actually how many lives were saved and just the information being made public may actually keep someone from driving drunk. But then again you've probably guility of drinking and driving and would love to see a blind eye view on checkpoints.keep up the good job guy's.

How many lives would be saved by arresting the smack and crack dealers? Since it is ok to stop and interrogate anyone driving down the road at a certain time it should then be ok to just go house to house looking for criminal activity…no?

Drinking and driving is just like anything else; it's PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

LOL!

Dont need to pass the bar. I graduated high school.

Cops have no right to randomly run identifications. There has to be probable cause of a sort to even engage a perp. The same as a cop cant just go around running license plates without a cause. And the same goes for ids.iillegal searches that luck out to actually finds something. Its criminoligy 101 idiot.
Its about time we stand against this tyrany of the government. They said drinking and driving is bad....and it is.but the sheeple blindly fell into big bros propraganda and forgot about their rights all pissed off because people were dying. Mean while our rights are slowly stripped away in the name of good. After years of this happening we have few rights left to lose.

But 9:38 sure is going to need a lawyer and I bet sooner than later.

8:43 better they just sit around doing nothing? Would this please you or just give you something else to complain about?

Anonymous said...

wow 9:38 you clearly don't know what you are talking about. Perfectly legal for police to run any tag without reason and talk to any person without cause.

8:05 wow, you're a victim.
You have been victimized by the propaganda that tries to justify this
uncontitutional behavior based on supposition and the "maybe/might happen, could happen, probably will happen, but were really not sure it will happen, but just to be sure" crowds we will preemptively trample everyone's rights to stop a "potential" accident from happening logic.
This is kind of like a scenario where someone stole 5 dollars in Mrs. Jones second grade classroom, so we the administration are going to search the entire 800 member student body!

Enough already with the unconstitutional preemptive law enforcement!! Statistics prove it does not reduce the crime it targets.

Broke the law, knowingly riding around with a joint in the ashtray...not a real smart move...pay the fine and do the time!!! Next time stay home!!!!

9:16 I commend you !!! for being a complete idiot. With your way of thinking all crimes would go unsolved-unpunished. I am guessing you got bullied alot in school. Weaklings like yourself are the reason the country is in trouble. With your logic the criminals would just prey on people like you. You just dont get it the only thing between you and thugs is the cops.

Try reading it again. He said its not legal yet they continue to do so becuase people have no sense of their rights.

I demand that you print the parent's name that is responsible for their child until they are of age-18. The parent cannot hide from their duty to supervise their children. If they can't trust them out of the house, then keep them home. Very simple. I am tired of seeing male 16 or female 17. Get some gumption and do your duty. The public deserves to know who these slack-off parents are.
