And The Daily Times Wonders Why They Just Can't Sell Papers Any More

As the stacks of papers grow in convenience stores ON THE FLOOR, one only has to look at the past two weeks and again on today's front page.

OK Daily Times, we get it. You don't like Senator Rich Colburn. For the past TWO WEEKS, each and every day the Daily Times continues to bring up Mr. Colburn and his Wife getting a divorce. Kick them when they're down.

No, don't talk about his PERFORMANCE ON THE JOB over nearly three decades. Instead, get into his personal life in the hopes of getting a GOOD SENATOR for the Eastern Shore out of Office.

There was a time when the Main Stream Media would RESPECT the personal lives and concentrate on performance on the job. Now, the Daily Times will use ANYTHING to get a REPUBLICAN out of Office. The abuse in this case is proven based on just how many days and articles they have written over the past two weeks.

The funny part is, the stacks of papers still remain on the floor in the stores. Maybe next week we'll see seven year old kids standing on street corners yelling, RICH COLBURN GETS LAID, READ ALL ABOUT IT. I wonder what the Daily Times would say if Rich says, "I did not have sex with that woman"??????

Just a tip I think that the DT is not telling corporate about all the cancellations. I cancelled so long ago they keep sending papers we call to tell them stop and they keep coming. Once Gannett catches on heads r gonna roll!

I can't help but to notice that The Daily Times just keeps publishing the same story over and over and over again.

Case-in-point the following

'Some local counties cut jobs to survive recession's toll'

For crying out loud, how many more weeks are they going to continue to post this month old story. I canceled my subscription over 2 years ago, and have never looked back.

Salisbury News is my go to source - 10 to 15 times per day. And Joe - you and your organization are doing a FABULOUS JOB!

To 8:32 - DT running old news;
How about the Chicken Tax Article, they are still running it after their initial reporting several weeks ago. The Daily Times just keeps regergitating the same news over and over again.

Isn't today the Day driving while suspended trial in AA county? Looks like he admitted guilt to 2 of the charges already. Now I would expect the DT's to not only get ahold of the transcripts but to also send someone to the trial to report word for word what happened.

6:56 AM Yes Joe it is and I am sure now that you have refreshed our memories, I know I can depend on you to post every word of the outcome.

I think he should get 5 days in the AA county lockup. He's been a habitual offender with this and needs to learn his lesson.
