Russian Islamic Video Threatens Sochi Olympics

MOSCOW (AP) -- An Islamic militant group in Russia's North Caucasus claimed responsibility Sunday for twin suicide bombings in the southern city of Volgograd last month and posted a video threatening to strike the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

There had been no previous claim of responsibility for the bombings, which killed 34 people and heightened security fears before next month's Winter Games.

In the video, two Russian-speaking men warned President Vladimir Putin that "If you hold these Olympics, we will give you a present for the innocent Muslim blood being spilled all around the world: In Afghanistan, in Somalia, in Syria."

We should send 0 Americans over to that terrorist country.

Terrorists are wicked and thrive on inflicting fear upon people and while more security measures need to be taken for the Olympics, if people are too scared to go then the terrorists win.

Bad idea from day one.Who in the free world did not see this coming?

Our friends the Saudis control this group. There is documentation from reputable news sources that the Saudis offered to "protect" the Olympics if the Russians let them overthrow Syria. It's geopolitical blackmail of the finest order.

the good news is Russia does not have a bill of rights for the people there. I smell a big purging coming. Russia shoots then asks questions later.

Well, in light of that warning, inform them that all Muslims that approach the ticket window will be shot on sight. Dump trucks and backhoes will be on site and available. All are invited to attend!
