NY Common Core Website ‘Engage NY’ Directs Kids To Lewd Sex Survey Site: “Are You A Slut?”

Warning, this story contains some graphic verbage. This is what family in New York are going through with Mario Cuomo’s Common Core program. The concern isn’t just for children in New York, but nationally. Homework from the Engage New York website has turned up in class rooms in other states like Mississippi.

One New York mother found that a link on the Engage New York website for Kindergarten led to a graphic and developmentally inappropriate website that contained a sex survey that asked questions that many would regard as graphic. The sex survey was a link to help students prepare for test taking and had been active since October 2012. Breitbart states,

Carol Burris, New York’s 2013 High School Principal of the Year, reports at Valerie Strauss’s Washington Post blog that Anna Shah, the mother of a kindergarten student, discovered highly offensive materials on the Student Services Page of the Engage NYCommon Core materials site. When Shah reported her discovery to NYSED, the page was taken down, though the link had reportedly been active since October of 2012.

This May shock a few people, but have you listened to children lately? Just listen to them at the mall, or movie theater, the language used as everyday conversation would make a Salior blush! I was supriesd to hear pre-teen girls in the food court talking about having to "suck", on a part of their boyfriend to keep him interested in just them! These girls didn't really even have breasts yet, so you know they were very young. Children today are as experienced as 16-17 year olds were in my day!
