North Salisbury M&T Bank Closing

I do not have the ability to scan this letter for you to see, but I was just notified that M&T bank will be closing their N Salisbury Blvd location on April 4th.

They claim that branch will consolidate with the Carroll St branch

Another empty building.

Take heart everyone.... business is growing and everything is rosy. I... however... do have a bridge I would like to offer for sale.

I would rather do business at the branch up North. I hate the Carroll Street branch. It is not user friendly at all.

So what? They have a branch at del mar and Carroll St is a whopping 6 miles away. What's the big deal???

Again as I have said many times these are all signs of an area in steep and fast decline...... More jobs lost, and a business lost. As people leave the area for greener pastures like my family and I did in July and see how a different area can completely change ones outlook they see what's really not happening on the shore. No progress, no new opportunities, and the list goes on and on. Sad to leave Delmarva but in the end the right choice.....

This whole area is in a steep decline, especially the Maryland areas. It's time for me to sell and gtfo.

Jim 11:58 it is not about location. It's about another empty building in the city.
Hopefully they sold it and another business will open, maybe not and it will sit vacant for a few year.
It is about another group of people that may lose their jobs if the company does not absorb them into other branches.

As far as location, the Carroll St location is the worst, parking sucks, the drive thru sucks. This was the better location of them all.

N Salisbury is prime retail real estate, hopefully it was sold.

There is no prime real estate on the eastern shore case closed it's a wash....
