OCPD MOURNS LOSS OF ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Ocean City Police Department shares the news of the passing of Animal Control Officer Donald Spence. ACO Spence passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 after being admitted to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for a medical emergency on Sunday, December 22. ACO Spence, 43, was a member of OCPD for 10 years. He was truly loved by everyone at the OCPD and throughout the Town of Ocean City.

There will be a service to celebrate the life of ACO Spence on January 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Bishopville Fire Department on Bishopville Road.
