The network suspended patriarch Phil Robertson last week for making controversial comments about homosexuals to GQ magazine.
“Regardless of one’s views on Phil Robertson’s statements, ‘Duck Dynasty’ has been an important representation of the state of Louisiana, inspiring prospective visitors and investors since its debut,” Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne said in a statement emailed Saturday.
Dardenne, who authored the state’s film and TV tax credit program, said he would use his influence in the state’s industry to help the Robertsons.

I will never watch A&E again. DUCK DYNASTY needs to go to another station.

Duck Dynasty has their choice of networks to go to with their ratings. I hope they choose wisely.
What I don't understand is why GQ ever got involved with Robertson. I doubt that there are many Duck Dynasty viewers among GQ's readers. What's next? Vogue interviews Honey Boo-Boo's mother?
I Have seen tv shows like my 3 sons start on one network and stay a few years, thenthe network don't want them and anouther one pick them up. I don't know who had them at first but cbs got them and the lasted 10 or more years give a few. Sheamus
