Wicomico Co. House Fire Ruled Arson


SALISBURY, Md. - A Thursday night fire in Wicomico County has been ruled as arson.

According to reports, the blaze broke out Thursday night at 9:15 PM, on the front porch of a two story single family house, on the 600 block of Baker Street, in Salisbury. The fire caused about $1,500 in damages.

Reports say the single alarm blaze took 10 firefighters, about 2 minutes to control.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is asking anyone with information, or anyone who might have been driving on Barclay or Martin Street, around 9:15 PM Thursday night, to call their

Salisbury office at 410-713-3780.

If anyone was driving down that street at 9:15 at night they wouldn't be here today to tell us about it.
