New Rules For Telemarketers

New regulations are now in force for those unwanted prerecorded calls and text messages.

As of today telemarketers must under FCC regulations get prior written consent to make calls to your cell phone or home phone land line if the message is a robocall.

The new law also applies to texting.

Yeah right. My number is already on the DNC list, but they still call. Then when you say something to them about it, they just hang up. They don't even let you take your number off their list. I had this happen the other day, so I called the number back, since it actually appeared on the call log. Someone was really nice when they answered and I told them that my number was on the DNC list and that I'd like to, and right then they just hung up on me.
They can have the regulations and laws they want, but it's not going to stop these guys from calling.

Report the number and block it.

I totally understand this happens all the time. So......who do you notify when they call? I am on the Do Not Call list as well and these people are so rude they do hang up on you. So who is policing and punishing these butt holes?
