Media Coverage Of Government Shutdown

Last week, as the prospect of a federal government shutdown loomed as reality, the President of the United States told the media that he would "not negotiate" with "house burners." And with that, the American mainstream media threw away their longstanding belief in "civil bipartisan compromise" in order to stand with Obama.

Since then, the GOP have passed two bills to avert a shutdown, both Senate Democrats and Obama have refused to offer a compromise, and now the media are attempting to make the GOP look like the crazies and the Democrats and Obama look like statesman.

What's really funny is Obama's focus is solely on this shutdown and not singing the praises of his signature health care bill.
That's because socialism lasted all of 9 minutes.
Republicans are politely sitting back laughing and not saying a word on how his signature bill is self destructing.

I would totally agree with all of ice what you have said...and the only reason the Dems have held fast on the health care issue is that that is Obama's legacy in their eyes. In my eyes his legacy is that he has broken his oath of office and should be impeached. What happened to the "protect and defend the constitution of the united states. And is that oath of office valid when he is a Muslim, not a christian.
