No fires. Must be nice to have a gravy job like the paid firemen. It sucks to be a paramedic though.

As a paramedic I get to ride the fire trucks so why does it suck to be a paramedic

I'm sure you are not a real paramedic. If there are no fires how do you get to ride the fire truck? Oh that's right you guys still have to go joy riding to get your lunch and dinner before you hit the sack for the night.

Why am I not a real paramedic? I put two years into school and training. When I say "ride" it means assigned. We do not go out for "joy rides". But you would know all of this if you git off your duff and volunteered or if you are already a volunteer you probably cannot pass the test.

I heard you had to take the test several times. I also heard you were afraid of fire, but you like riding the big red ding ding anyway. It makes you feel like a big man.
